The Controller powers the storage network.

Each network requires at least one Controller to stay active. Multiple Controllers can be used to meet higher energy demands.

Generating energy

The Controller does not generate energy on its own. It must be powered by an external energy source from another mod.

Energy usage

  • Energy is consumed per tick.

  • Consumption depends on the number and type of connected devices—more devices require more energy.

If the Controller runs out of energy, the network will attempt to draw power from another Controller. If no backup is available, the network will shut down.

Breaking the Controller retains its stored energy.

Redstone mode

The Controller can be set to operate only when a specific redstone state is met.

  • Ignore – Always active, regardless of redstone.

  • High – Only works when receiving a redstone signal.

  • Low – Only works when no redstone signal is present.

Connection with other storage network devices

The Controller connects to all adjacent blocks except the one in the direction it is facing.

Colored Controllers connect to any other color.

Recoloring

You can recolor the Controller in 2 ways:

  • While crouching, using a dye on the Controller

  • Combining the block with a dye as a crafting recipe
