The Security Manager is used to lock down a storage network and define player permissions through inserted Security Cards.
Behavior
Once placed, the entire storage network becomes restricted—including for the player who placed it. To restore access, insert appropriate Security Cards into the Security Manager.
The player who placed the Security Manager can always open its interface. Server operators bypass all security restrictions.
Multiple security managers
You can place multiple Security Managers in the same network.
If a player has multiple active Security Cards, an action is denied if any Security Manager blocks it.
Fallback Security Card
When a Security Manager is active, network access is locked for all players by default.
To define permissions for players without a matching Security Card, insert a Fallback Security Card.
If multiple Fallback Security Cards are present, an action is denied if any of them blocks it.
Permissions

Redstone mode
The Security Manager can be set to operate only when a specific redstone state is met.
-
Ignore – Always active, regardless of redstone.
-
High – Only works when receiving a redstone signal.
-
Low – Only works when no redstone signal is present.
Connection with other storage network devices
The Security Manager connects to all adjacent blocks except the one in the direction it is facing.
Colored Security Managers connect to any other color.
Recoloring
You can recolor the Security Manager in 2 ways:
-
While crouching, using a dye on the Security Manager
-
Combining the block with a dye as a crafting recipe
